Thread: Is Panda & Penguin Bad?

I find it refreshing that posting massive amounts of garbage content with random links no longer has the SEO 'link juice' it once had.

I prefer to provide the Internet World with valid content that is useful to people. Google's new algos make that a worth while effort again.
For awhile there, the only way to compete was to post thousands and thousands of links to as many domains a possible.

Blog farms full of thousands of inter-linked spun crap content articles was mandatory to compete.

I've got a blog farm of about 40 blogs, all on different c-class IPs. I notice that its effectiveness isn't near what it was. Posting thousands of badly spun content doesn't have the umph it had anymore.

GOOD! Now manually posted quality content done right seems to be the way to go. I've been working on a project and doing just that, still working a multi-tiered system and social signals (pretty heavily and well planned - THANKS AD-HOC!!!) and it's far more effective. I'm still working my butt off, posting a lot of content and can't say I've abandoned the xRumer approach but it's a lot more refined now and concentration is on quality content, not massive quantity of links.

I'm seeing tough keywords where sites with no more than 60 links (majesticseo.com) placing high on page one.

I think panda & penguin may be a blessing in disguise.

Google Panda and Penguin are algorithms of Google. Through this ,Google gives a proper ranking of the sites. I think the updates and the changes so far have proved to be really good.
