Will using Xrumer for blog commenting leave a footprint behind?
If it does leave a footprint behind is it going to be a bad thing?

If you setup xrumer with spintax, catch-all spun email accounts decent proxies and all the usual things you do, no one would know you used Xrumer.

The huge volume of comment spam all pointing at your site, yes, obviously this is a major footprint of your activity.
