    $300 lost buying services from morecoffee



    New thread started because it is difficult to see where to put this. Morecoffee has a number of sales threads - but I notice that there are increasing numbers of complaints and many of the sales threads are already locked.

    I want to let you all know of my recent experience buying mods and services from morecoffee. I trusted the guy since he seemed well thought of on this forum - but everything went badly wrong.

    Bottom line - I paid $300 for xrumer mods, plus installation, plus links lists plus proxies. After repeated emails requesting that the work be finished, all I had after 3 weeks was a folder of 'mods' on my server with no idea how to use them etc. To be fair, I also got a few emails listing proxies but the mods were my primary concern.

    I mailed repeatedly during the 3 weeks and eventually, assuming he was maybe overloaded or just plain disorganised - I requested a refund. He agreed. Weeks later and several reminders (followed by excuses) further on and still no refund.

    To back up my points, here are some extracts from the emails:

I have waited 3 weeks, which is more than long enough for you to provide the service promised (mods, upload/test, linkslists). The file of mods is completely useless to me as I don't have the technical skill to use it - hence the reason for the purchase in the first place.

    I can assure you that I will delete the folder, so please issue a refund.

    How shortly... this has been another 10 days! I'd be grateful if you could just fund the account and make the transfer - I have been out of pocket now way too long. Like yourself, I don't have extra chunks of $300 floating around and really need it back.

    Eventually, I had no option but to open a dispute with Paypal - in view of the exchange above and the promise of a refund due to non-delivery can you believe that he contested the dispute claiming everything had been delivered by email. Words fail me at this point.

    I am obviously $300 down with nothing whatsoever to show for it. (I promised to delete the folder of mods and did so.) Paypal won't help further because of the 'non-physical goods' issue. My credit card company is investigating since the balance was pulled from there.

    You live and learn right? But if you're smart you learn from other's mistakes and not your own.

    So, when buying...

    Avoid using paypal for any purchases of 'services'. Even if the service is not delivered and you have written proof as I did, Paypal won't honor any kind of dispute over non-delivery.

    If you have to use Paypal, empty your account first and make sure that payments are pulled from a credit card - this gives you far more rights if it comes to a dispute.

    Ensure you get an invoice before making payment. The invoice should state what is being provided, how and when.

    As I have said many times , with so many customers some are always unhappy .

    I'm sorry that paypal sided with myself over some dispute , I cant remember it off the top of my head but I am willing to discuss a refund with yourself .

    EDIT: ah yes I remember , I sold you an xrumer package with links + mods , but then you wanted me to install the mods , and when I could not in a timely manner you started a dispute. However with you having all the product and only having to copy and paste a mod pritty much I thought a refund was unfair.

    Thanks anyway , but I cannot refund under these circumstances . Learn to copy and paste ..

    You started a dispute because you claim you did not get your product , and you clearly said above you deleted the product .

    what am I meant to think ?

    The purchase was for mods, upload, install, test, linkslists, proxies. This was clear in all the correspondence. See YOUR mail here (seems I can copy and paste just fine...) :

    You did NOT deliver what was requested. You did not supply linkslists and you did not complete the install. You agreed a refund and haven't provided it. I only started the paypal dispute after you failed to deliver the refund - I figured the dispute would jog your memory. I was astounded by your response and sadly this forum is the only place left to express my disgust.

    The fact remains - I paid $300. I have nothing to show for it.

    Buyers beware.

    edit: File of mods was deleted after the refund was promised. Seemed only fair.

    All things aside , you lost your paypal dispute.

    Should paypal have sided with yourself , I would standby that decision and kindly stop moaning.

    You know why there is not a million other posts here ? because most people I work with are really happy. I am really sorry you had such a bad time with myself and granted my customer service was not upto scratch.

    The fact remains that you did get your product , I only failed to copy and paste the mods into your xrumer folders. After I failed to do this I did send you detailed instructions on how to do it yourself , why you could not help yourself at this point I don't understand and now to be honest I don't care.

    There is such a thing as a bad customer , and you where a prime example. All the usual things. No patience , Sending too many emails/pm's , asking for further support that was outside the remit , demanding a full refund when 95% of the work is complete , Telling paypal your product did not arrive when it did , and now harassment over the forums.

    You know , Its all good . I don't hate

    Any further communication with yourself can be made via email , [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. I won't be on the forum much over the next week as I am off on holiday to Amsterdam.

    Since as stated above you can copy and paste I am happy to email you a copy of the package you bought so you may now install it yourself , I await your email .

    Paypal do not offer refunds to people who buy goods that are of a non-physical nature and I was fully aware of this - I went down this route to try to jog your memory. Since you had repeatedly promised a refund, I never thought you would then contest my dispute.

    No such instructions were ever received - after failing to complete the install, you agreed to refund me. I did look inside the folder containing the 'mods' but in the absence of any instructions it made no sense whatsoever to me. This is why I ordered a complete service.

    This 'time-consuming' work was what was never completed. Likewise, since this was not completed I did not receive the links lists either.

    This was my only recourse and is exactly what I said I would do. I did not receive any response to the email below:

    No, thank you. I prefer to keep this conversation public - I have nothing to hide and have already lost $300, so really have nothing more to lose either.

    Very simply, I would like the refund that you repeatedly promised. I will of course update the thread when I receive it.

    I dont think he is selling services now here, he took what was a monthly service and made it "lifetime", shut it down.

    He promises refunds to buy time, dodge paypal disputes but never issues them.

    One minute he makes out he has all these big businesses to run, the next he says he has no money in his PayPal account to issue refunds ROFL.

    I think he must be drunk / high half the time he babbles this stuff out, he seems to lie compulsively.

    Shame really, like others I thought he seemed a good guy at one time.

    Its always a dissapointment when someone you think is ok turns out to be a such a prick.
